- Continue focusing on your courses as well as your extracurricular activities. Explore your interests more deeply. We officially kick-off college planning with our Junior College Seminar series in the Spring, which takes place once a month during Wednesday rotator period.
- Parents and students attend Junior College Night to discuss the application process and understand the college timeline.
- All Juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT in October
- Review practice SAT/ACT results with your College Counselor and create a plan for future tests.
- Participate in college visits at Alverno.
- Create plans to visit colleges; especially local options like Loyola Marymount, Cal State Los Angeles, UCLA, USC, Occidental College, Woodbury, Whittier and CalTech.
- Utilize SCOIR and other resources to research different colleges and universities.
